First Haircut

Thomas mows the lawn

Saturday, our baby lawn got it’s first haircut. Awww, how cute. I should have saved a clipping for the baby book. :) The lawn is looking great - very green. I didn’t imagine that it would really make such a difference, but it does. Plus, now Clover likes to play in our yard.

* This Weekend’s Yard Photos

Thomas moved the Holly and Azelea from the mailbox area to another part of the yard so I could plant Jessamine vines around the post. I also added an wooden edger and a Halloween lantern. I’d still like to add some kind of short flower to go around the border, but that will have to wait until another day.

The more we look at the front yard, the more we get to thinking that a terrace wouldn’t be necessary, if we could just fill in the mysterious hole. There is a dip down from the street height, but a terrace would just look weird in the front.

There are still a couple of other plants in the yard that I can’t identify. I posted photos in the gallery, incase anyone can ID them for me.
