The Hugest, Grossest Tick
Tonight, I gave Clover a bath before she went over to the sitter’s house, and I found a black eyed pea stuck to her eyebrow. Upon closer inspection, and a quick, unsuccessful flick, I noticed the stubborn pea was actually a giant, squishy tick. Clover’s had ticks before, but they were only little brown ones that would come off with just quick tug of the tweasers. This monster took some major yanking to get him out. She didn’t seem to mind, but her eyebrow is still a little puffy. Yech, it has been flushed down the toilet, but it still gives me shivers.
In less squeamish news, I’ve posted the photos that I took over the Christmas holiday in Texas. They really aren’t a very good set of shots, but my family probably wants to see them, so they’re here: Christmas 2005 in Texas
