Little Old Lady

March 21st, 2006 by sallad

Thomas sent me a link to a life expectancy calculator. He said he’s going to live to be 79, according to this site.

Supposedly, I will live 15 years longer than him, until I’m 96 years old. I’m not sure why we have such a difference in our scores. If anything, I would guess that my answers would report that I’m the unhealthier of us - I eat worse food and I get less exercise. On the otherhand, I have had two grandparents that have lived past 80, so maybe that helps my score.

So will you be around in 2074 to come to my 96th birthday party?

Those things disturb me and I never do them! I know it’s irrational.

It said my major detractors was that I was a male, did not complete college, and had grandparents who died before age 80. If I life to 79, that’d be excellent. It’s hard to fathom what the world will be like in 2074.

I’m apparently only going to make it to 77- 2058. The biggest negative for me was “Family health” since I’ve had two grandfathers with cancer as well as my dad. Of course, for one grandpa it was from smoking and my dad is now cured… nowhere to mention that, though.

I don’t think I will be able to attend your 96th birthday, but you are invited to my 101 birthday.

Apparently I’ll have to RSVP in the negative - and earlier rather than later, so I’m posting it here to make sure I get it done. ;)

Actually, it says I’ll make it to 83. So, remind me to send you a card in 2057. :)
