First Dogwood Flower
I’m jealous of the color in my neighbors’ yards. Their tulips, azeleas, and dogwoods are blooming. We finally got our first dogwood tree flower back by the creek this weekend. We also have some barely-blooming pink and white azeleas in the front yard. And the temporarily potted hostas, hydrangeas, and Japanese maples are looking good.
The weather has warmed up to short sleeve and shorts weather. This weekend is the Dogwood Festival at Piedmont Park - I’m hoping to drag Thomas to it. Other than that, I’ve been keeping busy with a ton of little things. I’ll post yard photos and a more substantial entry later this week. Just wanted to note that I’m still alive.
Note: Anyone notice the ant that snuck into the flower photo? I didn’t even see him when I took it.
