Clover Rescue Mission
This weekend, Thomas and I took off on a Clover Rescue Mission. We drove up to Charlotte, where we met up with my dad and did a trade off of the pup in a McDonald’s parking lot. I missed the scraggley little pup, and her waggley little tail so much.
While we were in NC, we went to a party at one of Thomas’ friend’s houses. It was a friend he hasn’t really hung out with since meeting me, so I was glad he was able to go, and now I can say I’ve been to one of John’s infamous parties, though this one was supposedly smaller than usual. It was fun though.
Next weekend, I’m signed up to take the motorcycle training class that Thomas took a few weeks ago, but I keep trying to make up excuses to skip it. I signed up just to be the supportive girlfriend, but I really don’t see myself riding his motorcycle much at all. I hate that Thomas would lose the money he paid for me to take this course, but I also feel that is the only thing keeping me in it. If I do go though, a coworker of mine will be there to keep me company.
Other than that, this weekend, I discovered that the rose bush in my backyard is actually a blackberry bush, and I also got Jury Duty assigned for later in May. And I received a 1-Month Free Coupon for Netflix. If you want it, let me know and I’ll email you the code.

You and your parents share Clover?
No, we had just left her there for the week, since we thought we’d be going back last weekend…like summer break with her grandparents and her sister, Bailey. :) But when those plans changed, we had to find a new time to go pick her up. She really hates riding in the car, so having her ride in the car 2 times, instead of 4 for two weekends in a row would have been alot more pleasant for her. It’s complex.
the little hairs on a blackberry bush can be a bit of a giveaway. ;) also, the leaves of a rose bush aren’t wrinkly on the surface like the leaves of a blackberry bush.
still–what a tasty discovery.

I was basing it on the thorns and the shape of the plants. Here’s the photo of what it looked like when I assumed it was a rose: http://www.sallad.net/gallery/v/house/springyard/photo+025.jpg.html
And here’s what it looks like now that I’m assuming it’s a blackberry bush: http://www.sallad.net/gallery/v/2006/freewk/photo+016.jpg.html
We’ve had wild berry bushes growing in our backyard, but I’ve seen them as more of a nuisance.
If you still have the flix code, I’d put it to good use.
