Texas Chair

June 20th, 2006 by sallad

I stopped by Goodwill on my way home from work today, and I had a great find…a Texas-themed chair. It’s an old metal stool with three levels - the bottom two fold up under the stool.

All three steps have mosaics on them - a cowboy boot, the letter S, and a star. There isn’t room for it in my Texas-themed bathroom, but I thought it was too cute to pass up, and it was cheap. I’ll find somewhere for it to go.

That is too cool! Looks like the S is a brand (maybe the “Rocking S”?). The stool reminds me of one like we had when I was growing up. It was at the end of the bar and my seat at meals. I think Mama C didn’t trust me not to pinch Mary when we were eating.

I love the stool. It is really cute. I think that it would look more “Texan” to cover the gray paint with red or dark blue. This is a real find.
