This is my favorite oven mitt. I love the bright 60s pattern on it. I think it was my grandmothers, but I’m not sure how it ended up in my kitchen drawer.

A while back, Thomas accidentally set it on the stove while it was hot, and the backside of the mitt was charred. So since I got some spiffy new oven mitts for Christmas, including some cool handmade ones from Thomas’ mom that match an apron she also made me, I finally threw this one out.
