I don’t talk about my career, or where I work in my blog, but I’ve got to say that my coworkers are awesome. Last week, they threw Thomas and I a wedding shower, and it was a ton of fun. The best part is that the feeling that the wedding process moved from drawn-out planning to excited festive. I’m glad they were able to celebrate with us.

For the shower, we all met at Five Seasons Brewery near the office. They had the table decorated with birdhouses, wreaths, and candy - it was funny because I had made some similar, sample centerpieces for the wedding. We’re not going to be using them after all, but it was cool because they said they picked birdhouses because it reminded them of us. :) And they had little Bride to Be and Groom to Be badges for us.

We all shared some appetizers and then had dinner. Thomas and I shared grilled raviloli in a lobster and shrip sauce. Yum. Next, we opened some presents they gave us. I think they really want us to have a barbeque at our house this Summer, because we got lots of barbeque gear. Finally, they gave out little cupcakes with our initials on them.

I appreciate all the effort my coworkers went to for us. The whole party was great, and I’m glad Thomas was able to join us.
