I just became aware of "twittering" -- I'm not doing it but I found the idea fascinating. People writing about what they are doing at that exact moment. It's fun for the moment but I'm not sure I know what the purpose is.

Friendster (though I very rarely log in), Flickr, and Twitter for me. There are so many of these sites out there that it is overwhelming.

The only one I truly hate is MySpace. It gives me a headache every time I see it.

Myspace -- Ugh. It reminds me of the internet 12 years ago, flash tags and all. And hamster dance.

The most inconvenient thing about the social networking sites is that not everyone uses the same one. I've got an account on Myspace, Facebook, Friendster, . . . etc. Managing them all is a pain.

Facebook and LinkedIn for me. I like the privacy features on Facebook. And LinkedIn seemed like a good idea professionally. I dropped MySpace for the same reasons.
