Fun Monday: My Shoes

September 30th, 2007 by Sallad

This week, on Fun Monday, Pensieve asked to see our shoes.

In this photo, you see:

  • The sparkley green shoes that I absolutely love, but have not had many opportunities to wear them - I tried to wear them with my wedding dress, but the heel was too short
  • My favorite everyday shoes for walking the dog, going to the store, kayaking, etc. - I wore these in the Galapagos and got a funky foot tan from the cutouts
  • My poison ivy protecting, waterproof boots - I wear these while doing yard work and when walking in the creek to fight off the snakes
  • My favorite socks, despite the holes - my friend Georgy gave them to me because they have VW buses on them

Living with Thomas has taught me good Swedish shoe etiquette - always leave your shoes by the door when you come inside.

You have wonderfully colorful and fun shoes. I love that you were going to wear the sparkly green shoes for your wedding. And the boots are so fabulous; especially if they keep away the snakes.

    Happy Birthday

We leave our shoes by the door also. But not because we have good manners, we’re just trying to keep the carpet clean.

Happy Birthday. I have the same problem about the age. And, am asked if I’m an unwed mother often. I’m a year older than you, too.

    Love your socks.

Well, now, I like how you handled this post! Lots of info in just a few words and pictures (I write too much…and posts like this challenge me to K.I.S.S. :/ :) ).

Those boots put a smile on my face–might as well have fun when you’re dodging poison ivy!
