Pay It Forward & Linen Headaches
First off, I’ve been seeing these Pay It Forward Craft swaps all over the blogosphere and have hesitated to sign up…until today. When I saw that Uncommon Grace had an open slot on her swap, I signed up. Now I get to pay it forward…It works like this: I receive a craft from Grace, and I get to make a craft for three of you.
Here’s the required explanation:
I will send a handmade gift to the first 3 people who leave a comment on my blog requesting to join this Pay It Forward exchange. I don’t know what that gift will be yet and you may not receive it tomorrow or next week, but you will receive it within 365 days, that is my promise! The only thing you have to do in return is pay it forward by making the same promise on your blog.
So, leave a comment if you’d like to participate!
Now for the linen headaches. I bought some linen a couple of weekends ago to play with and I got inspiration for a purse from the new Patchwork and Quilted Gifts book I got. The problem is that the book shows the pattern on a quilt, and it wasn’t too easy to reduce it to purse size, and work with thick, slinky fabric like linen. I think I have a plan on how to finish it now, but it has been giving me headaches. You can see the pattern in the book and the small linen piece I have so far in the entry photo.

Hi Dallas~ I would love to participate in this if there is still a spot available. I also was wondering if you could tell me the name of the print(and where I could purchase it) on the second tile in from the right, the black and white, I love it. Thanks
