This is what my dad built while he was visiting this past week - it’s a small retaining wall next to our front sidewalk. He didn’t build the sidewalk, but he did help plan and prepare it last year. He and my brother build the porch in the background several months ago. They also built the front retaining wall in this next photo.  All we have left on redoing our front walkway is to plant some plants…many of which are hostas sent from Mom and Dad’s garden when they have visited.
