Fall Swap Sent
My swap partner for the Fall Swap received her package today in Singapore. The swap asked that we send three items that reminded us of the Fall Season, at least one has to be handmade.
Here’s what I sent.
First is the handmade item. I know the traditional colors for fall here are reds and oranges because of the changing leaves, but I wasn’t sure if the leaves change color in Singapore. I did some reading up on what goes on in the Fall there and I learned about the Moon Festival. I designed this tote to have colors that reminded me of the moon.
The next two parts of the swap are in this photo, along with some Halloween candy. On one side, there are a couple of scrapbooking pads - one with traditional Fall colors, and the other with patterns by one of my favorite fabric artists, Amy Butler. On the other side there’s an aromatic drink coaster and some mulling spices. I thought about making the coaster, but I was getting close on time, so I just bought one.
This last item was a bonus item for my swapper’s daughter. I posted a picture of the other side of it earlier, but here’s what the back looks like with Dora the Explorer on it.
This was a great swap and I enjoyed emailing my partner back and forth. You can see more items that participants sent and received on the Flickr group.

Very nice! And you put a lot of thought into it, so that makes it even more special.
Wow!
How lucky your swap partner is! And it was a very good idea looking for how fall could be there. Here we don´t have these beautiful colors of yours too, but the sunlight is special and turns everything more beautiful, it´s a good time to take pix.
