I love the multiple bird feeder hanger. I had thought about hanging 2 from a double shepherd’s hook, but was afraid it would just attract more squirrels. Did you build the tray feeder or buy it somewhere?
Derelys, the multiple bird feeder hanger is from the Wildbird store. You can barely see the baffle, but it stops all squirrels. Since we moved our feeders up higher than 5 feet and farther than 9 feet from a tree, not a single squirrel has been able to get to the food. They are busy gathering all the pieces off the ground, though. The birds have pecking order: doves scare all away. Blue jays are next, woodpeckers, then cardinals, and the little finches, chickadees, and bluebirds come last. The same food is in all the feeders - it’s peanuts, pecans and walnuts, chipped sunflower seeds, and thistle.
Are you trying to keep that little bluebird to yourself? Lovely, all of them! I think I recognize one or two of them. Tell them to make sure thay come back up here when it’s warmer. :) That little cardinal was always too cautious of me, let her know I’m safe. :)
This is why I had to have a new camera. I love birds and want to start birding more. Unfortunately, my boys do not know what quiet means, so by the time I see the bird, get my camera at the ready, they yell, “Mom, look at that bird”, the bird flies off and I’m stuck with my mouth wide open…
Hi! I'm a crafty, outdoorsy girl, usually with a camera in tow. I live outside of Atlanta, GA with my husband, Thomas. This blog is about how I spend my free time.

You must have an awesome camera! These are great photos.
Great photos, I think that you should be a professional photographer or at least a good photographer.
Good Luck.
these are too lovely. is that a redbird ? I’ve always wanted to see one, after reading ‘a redbird christmas’ by Fannie Flagg.
