Finishing Up the Year
I’m finishing up the year with three last photo sets. The SD card in my camera is now empty, and all the photos on my computer that will be posted, have been posted.
My parents returned our birding lens that we forgot at Thanksgiving, and Thomas and I spent much of our Christmas break using it. His new camera has a remote, so he set up the tripod outside and he stood inside to get his shots. I took mine from the deck.
- Thomas’ Christmas Birding Photos (50 photos)
- My Christmas Birding Photos (21 photos)
Here are my favorite shots:
This next set is just a few photos of the centerpiece our friends gave us after their wedding. The light was just right through the kitchen window, so I grabbed my camera and took a couple shots. This rose was my favorite shot.
- Young and Moon’s Centerpiece (4 photos)
The last set is from yesterday. After my family headed home, Thomas and I took our bikes out to Big Creek Trail. The weather was gorgeous and we rode around 7 miles. We had never been there before, but it was a great trail with several wildlife preserve areas. We will definately go back sometime for better photos.
- My Big Creek Photos (13 photos)
My favorite shot was this squirrel – I can’t tell if he was eating something in the mud, or knawing on the tree.

I love the sun glowing through the squirrel’s tail. :0) Great shots, as usual!
Great photos! I’ve never heard of Big Creek Trail. Is that near Roswell? (Not that it really matters since I don’t have a bike and I’d pass out if I tried to walk 7 miles.)
