Theme Thursday: Colors

January 3rd, 2008 by sallad

I sort of missed last week’s Theme Thursday. Actually, I was just early — I posted it on Tuesday instead. I did take a family photo, and I even used a remote. It’s posted here: Theme Thursday: Family

This week’s Theme Thursday is Color. For Christmas, I got the parts to make a lightbox, and last night, I used these directions to build it. My setup looks like this: My Lightbox Setup

I made a collage of some brightly colored items that I tested in my lightbox. Click on the links below to see them up close, or see all of them here: Lightbox Test Photos

Lightbox Test
1. Berry Decorations, 2. Thomas’ Noogler Beenie, 3. Goddess Box, 4. Kissing Gnomes, 5. Aimee Ray Nom, 6. Owl from Singapore, 7. Thread, 8. 35mm Lens, 9. Smiley Face Mug, 10. Troll, 11. Button Jar, 12. Hairy Fairy Doll

Wow Dallas - those are great! I have been meaning to look into something like this for my food photos! It’s usually dark when I cook dinner and the photos come out poorly, so will have to look into this. Thanks for the link to the directions!
