Theme Thursday: Winter
Holy Cow! It snowed in Atlanta…
I thought I was going to have to skip Theme Thursday this week because the theme is Winter, and we’ve been running around in short sleeve tee-shirts. And then, all of a sudden, it got cold and fluffy white things started falling from the sky.
Unfortunately, the snow started when I left work, and it was dark by the time I got home. Thomas and I played outside for a little bit, but none of my photos came out. Clover had a blast and ran around like a fruit loop.
Here’s Thomas’ Snow photos - he got home earlier than I did. We celebrated the snow with chocolate chip pancakes for dinner and snuggled up to watch a movie. It was all melted by morning.
Check out the other Theme Thursday participants on The Land of KA.
In other news, I signed up for my first swap of the year. I’m going to participate in Ibby Bee’s Coaster Swap. Signups are open until Jan 22nd. [Edit: The swap closed early and I was too late to get a spot. Maybe next time.]
I’m also going to be hosting my first swap soon. I’ll post details on Monday. Come back and check it out!

Glad mother nature cooperated for Theme Thursday. :) Nice shot of your snow!
Snow in Hotlanta? Wow! Great shot! Now go make a snowman before it melts. :)
Wow - I had no idea that it ever snowed in Atlanta! What a fun treat!
Having only been to the Airport in Atlanta and my husband was there for 5 days one February - we were under the impression it was a bit warmer there - lol - great photos.
It seems that ALOT o’ folks were surprised by snow today–bigger surprise for Atlanta than some, I’m sure!
I enjoyed your blog, browsing your photos!

Wow, that’s snow! We STILL haven’t had any snow!
I love the way snow looks on outdoor furniture! Cool photo.
I just love how you celebrated with pancakes for dinner!
Chocolate chip pancakes for dinner sounds fabulous! I also like the lizard in the light box, I still need to try that(making a box, that is)!
And now we got snow again 4 days later. Who would have ever imagined that? I heard on the news this morning that we have now had more snow than NYC this winter. Crazy no?!
Did you run out and make snow angels while you could?
Swap, did I hear swap? I’ve been trying to cook up a swap of my own. :)
