Weekend Update

Thank goodness the bird count is all weekend, because I didn’t count a single bird today. In fact, I slept almost the entire day. I’ve got flu.
I haven’t been real sick in a while, but this time it hit me hard - aches, congestion, chills, and I think a little bit of a fever. Thomas has been taking care of me, and even made me some chicken soup. Hopefully, I’ll feel better tomorrow and we can count some birds.

Oh boo. A lot of people in my office have had it. I’m holding out hope I don’t catch it. We have over 300 people on 6 floors. So far, about 3 floors have been hit hard with it but my floor wasn’t one of them. Then my office roommate was out on Friday with it. I think it has made it to our floor now.
