Happy Easter!

March 23rd, 2008 by Sallad

Happy Easter! I hope you had as relaxing of a weekend as we did.

Friday night, we watched The Business of Being Born, a documentary on obstetrics. I had read about it on Crunchy Peas’ blog, and thought it sounded interesting. It was produced by Ricki Lake and had a strong push toward home-births. I really didn’t know much about midwives, natural birth, and that kind of thing, so I learned a lot.  We had to pause the movie halfway through to help Clover, who ate half a tin of blue mints - ugh, blue foamy carpet.  She’s feeling fine now.

Saturday morning, we got up early and started in on some house cleaning so we could play later in the day. Thomas went to a motorcycle show with some friends and I worked on some swap crafts with Jane. I’ve finished my cards for the Notecard swap, and cut out the pattern pieces for my Tote Swap.

Today, we spent most of the day working in the yard, mostly bundling sticks and raking leaves. Our yard was a mess after all the storms we’ve been having. Just for fun, I took a bunch of photos of Clover dressed up like a flower. Poor pup, I bet she can’t wait until we have little goobers to dress up instead. I put some of the outtakes on Flickr:

No plans for this week, yet. How was your weekend?
