Pirates vs. Ninjas Party

The party was a success…lots of friends, lots of drinks, and lots of fun. Thomas dressed as a Ninja (photo above) and I was a Pirate. Most of the photos turned out like this - blurry - but it’s probably an accurate view of what the guests saw.
There are other photos, but I’m warning you that they’re not the best examples of my photography.

We had a few dress up, a few played poker, and a few got a little silly - but we all had a good time. There were Jello Shots, two cakes - caramel and chocolate frosted - and we sang Happy Birthday to Thomas. The party ended early, shortly after midnight, but for the sake of everyone’s livers, it was a good idea. Most of all, I think Thomas had a good time - Happy 30th, Thomas!

Too young for jello shooters, but my boys were enthused about the party theme. “He’s a smart guy,” is what they said, in awe of Thomas.
