Princess Garb and a Crazy Uncle
May 27th, 2008 by sallad
We’ve secretly replaced a cute little 3 year old with her crazy uncle for this blog post. She would have been a much better model for this princess gear, but she wasn’t available. However, this is what the teaser photo from last week became…
I used a no-sew tutorial for the tulle skirt - very easy, but make sure the tulle isn’t too itchy for little legs. The bracelet and necklace were just beads strung on elastic. And the crown was modeled after Uncommon Grace’s birthday crowns. I wanted to use the purple fabric in the teaser photo for a drawstring bag to store it all in, but I’m still not advanced enough to sew slippery fabric and my sewing machine got jammed.

Thomas is a good sport - and I’m pretty sure the little princess will be over the moon. What 3 year old girl wouldn’t be?
