A Different Perspective

May 30th, 2008 by sallad

This week’s challenge on Exposaroonie is to take a photo from a different perspective.  I narrowed my shots down to two - you’ll have to click over to Exposaroonie to see which one I submitted.  :)

First (in order of taking it) is Thomas. He was trying out his new Wii Fit and I was showing his brother how close you can get with our wide angle lens. I was actually just a couple of inches from his face.  It’s funny that this is the angle that I don’t allow Thomas to take my photo - under chin shots are not allowed.

The next shot is Charlie, my sister-in-law’s cat.  While we were at her house this past weekend, Charlie chilled out on his cat condo, which was taller than me.  I thought it would be fun to duck down and get a shot up at him.  I particularly like how the background showed up so dark.

Yes, Charlie’s portrait is an all time best shot. Don’t get me wrong, Thomas is a cool cat too!

The Thomas picture is good, but the Charlie picture is better than that - it’s amazing!
